My Story Text:: hello, I'm French and my English is bad ... sorry ... I Was born in Alsace and my name is Isabelle Brand. Now I write in French I went to Israel 2 years ago and the country and the people of Israel completely changed my life and that of my husband, I do not understand me more, I feel at home over there ... and these people are my people ... I asked my parents if we did not have Jewish origins and now 4 times I ask them and they do not answer a word, silence ... so I started researching genealogy, and I discovered that the maternal grandmother of my father's name Appoline Flesch Pfaffenheim, but I also discovered that 85% of the names of my family both for mom dad names are German Jews ... Baron, Kleinmann, Brand, Schumacher, Dietrich, Warthmann, Kolher, Fischer, Meyer, Haas, Brown .... but I have found no evidence ... I was born into a Catholic family, but with time I left that religion which has always bored, I prefer that which is biblical ... Today I want to convert me to Judaism ... I do think I have Jewish ancestry, but my Alsatian ancestors have certainly convert to Catholicism long. I want to know more about Flesch, Flesch my ancestor named Joseph, born in 1835 in Alsace Pfaffenheim.
